Retained engineering support for serious technical delivery.
HNES / Norelith is built for clients who need one capable engineering partner across software, electronics, firmware, mechanical design, robotics, automation, AI, and product integration. Retainers are the preferred route for ongoing or evolving work. Fixed-price projects are still available when the scope is short, specific, and locked.
Best for premium builds
End-to-end or hybrid projects where hardware, software, CAD, firmware, AI, dashboards, or control systems need to work together.
Still open to focused work
PCB revisions, firmware debugging, CAD packs, web dashboards, AI features, audits, rescue work, and scoped specialist tasks.
Monthly engineering retainers
Reserved engineering access for clients who need dependable technical ownership, regular progress, and practical delivery capacity. Each month has agreed priorities, a capped allocation, and clear boundaries. These are not unlimited development agreements.
Post-Delivery Support
Past clients who need light aftercare, clarification, triage, and support after delivery.
USD 950/month
Up to 14 hours/month
- Questions about delivered files, code, CAD, PCB, firmware, documentation, or system behaviour
- Light review of screenshots, logs, test results, photos, videos, or supplier questions
- Guidance on whether an issue is support, a separate fix, or a larger new phase
Engineering Support Retainer
Regular engineering input, reviews, debugging, small fixes, technical planning, and handover support.
USD 3,000/month
Up to 43 hours/month
- Design reviews, debugging support, feasibility advice, and technical decision-making
- Small fixes, documentation updates, supplier support, and contractor/internal team review
- A strong fit when you need senior engineering input without a full monthly build stream
Build Retainer
Active monthly engineering development across software, firmware, PCB, CAD, prototyping, and integration.
USD 7,500/month
Up to 107 hours/month
- Weekly progress updates, agreed monthly priorities, and handover-ready engineering outputs
- Firmware, software, PCB, electronics, CAD, mechanical, prototype, robotics, or controls work
- Ideal when the project needs reliable external engineering capacity without hiring full-time staff
Priority Development Sprint
Urgent builds, project rescue, MVPs, demos, investor preparation, or high-priority delivery.
USD 16,000/month
Up to 229 combined team-hours/month
- Fast multi-discipline engineering push with coordinated specialist input where needed
- Prototype rescue, urgent debugging, MVP/demo readiness, and high-priority technical ownership
- Best when speed, coordination, and delivery confidence matter more than the lowest monthly cost
How the monthly plans work
Included time is a monthly cap, not an open-ended commitment. For team-based work, time can be distributed across the relevant specialists: firmware, PCB, CAD/mechanical, software, testing, technical coordination, or documentation. Work beyond the agreed cap or outside the monthly priorities is quoted or billed separately before proceeding.
Blueprint and audit sprints
If the brief is risky, incomplete, inherited, or technically uncertain, a paid sprint is the safest first move. It creates the plan, evidence, and scope boundaries needed before starting a retainer or fixed-price build.
Fixed-price work is still available for locked scopes
Fixed-price packages are best for short, well-defined outputs: a website build, app prototype, PCB/firmware revision, or CAD/DFM pack with a clear deliverable list. If requirements are still moving, we will recommend a sprint or retainer first.
Fixed price works when scope, inputs, exclusions, timeline, and acceptance criteria are agreed before build starts.
Two kinds of work we actively support
The strongest fit is multidisciplinary product delivery, but we also take focused specialist work when it matches our engineering depth and can create a useful long-term relationship.
Premium / higher-value jobs
One engineering partner across multiple domains.
This is where we are most differentiated against single-discipline freelancers and narrow agencies: projects where electronics, firmware, software, mechanical design, AI, controls, and integration need to move together.
Volume / conversion jobs
Focused work, done properly.
We also support narrower jobs when the task is technical, bounded, and useful: debug the board, revise the enclosure, build the dashboard, integrate the model, rescue the repo, or prepare the handover pack.
- Debugging, audit, rescue, revision, and handover work
- Single-skill tasks that can grow into repeat work
- Specialist delivery without pretending every job needs a huge programme
- A practical entry point for clients who may later need a retainer
What we can cover
From technical websites to electronics bring-up, from firmware to CAD, from robotics to AI-enabled products, the value is in joining disciplines without losing clarity.
Mechanical / CAD
PCB / electronics
Embedded / firmware
Robotics / controls
Software / web / app
AI / data / training
How to choose
Use this as a simple starting point. If you are unsure, book a call and we will recommend the least risky route.
Ongoing or evolving work
Choose a monthly retainer when you need active engineering support, development, or technical ownership.
Book a retainer callUnclear, inherited, or risky
Start with a Blueprint or Technical Audit Sprint before committing to build budget.
View sprintsShort locked scope
Use fixed price only when the scope, deliverables, inputs, and acceptance criteria are tightly defined.
