Terms
A plain-English summary of website use and how HNES / Norelith typically frames engineering engagements.
Website use
This website explains our services, example work, packages, and ways to contact us. Content is provided for general information and does not by itself create a client relationship.
Project details, deliverables, prices, timelines, and responsibilities are confirmed in writing before work starts.
Retainers, sprints, and fixed scopes
Retainers provide reserved engineering access with agreed monthly priorities and capped time. They are not unlimited development agreements.
Fixed-price work is only suitable for short, specific, locked scopes with clear inputs, exclusions, acceptance criteria, and handover expectations.
For unclear, risky, inherited, or multi-disciplinary work, we may recommend a paid Blueprint Sprint or Technical Audit Sprint before committing to a build plan.
Deliverables and handover
Unless agreed otherwise, project deliverables are handed over after payment milestones and scope conditions are met. Handover may include source files, repositories, CAD, PCB files, documentation, runbooks, or reports depending on the work.
You are responsible for reviewing delivered work, providing timely feedback, and confirming any required changes within the agreed review window.
Boundaries and exclusions
We do not take on civil engineering, structural building design, regulated medical device ownership, manned aviation, or formal certification programmes unless explicitly agreed with appropriate specialist support.
Parts, manufacturing, travel, certification, third-party services, and specialist testing are not included unless stated in the proposal.
Need anything clarified? Contact us through the project estimate form or discovery call page and we will confirm the relevant terms before work starts.
